A Year Ago..

A year ago we had just returned from Ukraine. We had just left these little babies. We had to leave them behind, alone to continue to grow up in an orphange.

We think of them and pray for them often! It makes me very sad to think that most of these kids are probably still in the same place, a year older, sleeping in a room full of beds with no one to kiss them goodnight. We miss and admire our friends Ruslan and Archie who have opened their home and their hearts to a dozen orphans and work tirelessly to serve those around them. I hope we can travel back to Ukraine again sometime.

This Ugandan orphan child is almost 2 years old! So malnourished. I want to scoop him up and never let him go.

This guy is a teenager in the U.S. foster system. And he needs a home too. I never want to forget about the kids here in the States. They want to be wanted just as much!
