About Us
We are a Christian family, originally from Delaware, who detoured through the mountains of Virginia, and are now living in Southern Maryland. We both come from big, wonderful families and want to raise our children how we were raised: to love the Lord our God with all our heart and our neighbors as ourselves. We strive to live simply and make use of the gifts the Lord has given us.
These days we have 3 wild, funny sons- Graham, Patrick, and Samuel. Each boy is a gift, and we are humbled to be parenting these kids and navigating life with our brood. Most of our time feels seems to be used up by cleaning up Lego's or going to yet another playground, but these grace-days are filled with love and growth. God has certainly used this time in our lives to show us our need for Christ and to be daily dependent on Him.
As a family, we love playing in the garden, exploring local parks, reading (well, we should be reading more-goals!), snacking, listening to Debt-free screams on the Dave Ramsey show to inspire us in our Financial Peace journey, fort-building, quoting Lord of the Rings, and playing with our hamster, Ivanhoe the Fluffy. Oh, and the parents in the family enjoy a happy IPA beer.
