The Time Has Come to Announce...

...that Behn got a new job and we are moving!!

This job came after a lot of waiting (not often patiently on my part), praying, pleading, wondering, job-applying, and trusting God. And He opened this door in His perfect timing (seriously, in the nick of time; we are supposed to be out of our house by Nov 1st).

The job is with Recorded Books, a private book recording and ebook company, so actually he'll be in an office setting, not in a library anymore. He is excited! I am so proud of him.

So, where? We'll be in southern Maryland. We'll live with my parents for a few months until we find a good place to move our little family. I am thrilled to be close to family again. I like adventure and change.

But it is very bittersweet to leave this beautiful place that's been our home for 3 years. We have an amazing and treasured church family here. We love the mountains and this quaint, small, historic town. I have awesome friends who make my days brighter. So there is a lot we are leaving behind.

I have so much more to say, but I have to pack!! And on no more than 5 hours of sleep. Baby Patrick was up fussing a lot of the night because he was constipated. Of course first thing this morning he had a giant blow-out poo. Thanks, kid. Couldn't you have done that at like, midnight, and then slept the rest of the night? I'm so exhausted I look like the dead girl under the bed in The Sixth Sense. You know, the one who gives Haley Joel Osment the video that proves her mother was poisoning her all along? Anyway, I digress.

We also have dear friends visiting for a few days and I am looking forward to the company! We haven't seen them in a few years.

For my own memory, here is a list of things that have happened lately that eventually  I should blog about:

-Hannah and Ben's wedding
-Jess, Lily and Mom T visiting
-The realization that despite our efforts to 'live simply' we have too much stuff. Packing reveals all junk.

Peace out, gotta do a million things today!
